SCA's (Smart Contract Accounts)

Post by 0xcomingsoon »

Hi everyone,
Does electroneum already have SCAs (Smart Contract Accounts) working on their blockchain?
Or will that be coming to us in 2026?
I was curious about it. I sometimes see it pop up online.

Short answer is if Ethereum can do it, so can Electroneum. Evm compatibility means Electroneum can handle smart contract accounts

I think more info is coming here in Q1 of 2026 about this. Ethereum cant do this fully yet and Richard have been pointing out Gas sponsorship (someone else pays fees) in the latest videos (and actually since smartchain launched in 2024 - called it "billable fees" then).

If its fully available or there needs to be an update to the network I dont know. But this seems to be one of the major points for ETN, combined with fast, cheap and green...

It would be nice if you could use a WhatsApp bot to pay for services with crypto.

Yes, thank you, I've listened to it five times.
We'll just wait and see.
I have no idea where we're going.
Yes, I know gas is being added to your wallet.
Probably for joining a subscription or something?
Or am I on a different wavelength then?
In my opinion, it shouldn't be too difficult for the average person.
That's why I'm asking for a platform, a bot, or an email to respond to become a member?

I also came across an article. https://hackernoon.com/we-need-crypto-p ... -that-work
That crypto companies generally promise to solve the problem of unbanked people.

It's probably all too difficult for the average person now.
From that, I conclude that a platform or a simple app would be very welcome.

P.S. You can have a great blockchain—fast, cheap, green, etc., etc.—but if you don't have a user-friendly interface, people won't use it. (This is for feedback.) I don't mean anything more by it.

Didn't know there were something called "Whatsapp bots", I thought only Discord and Telegram had that. As Whatsapp is so extremely wide spread in terms of users I can see that could be very powerful.

I think we will get more details here ion first quarter of 2026 about all the technicalities for the ETN 2.0 chain and how businesses can utilize these features. We had several mentions for supply chains and with the One Ocean partnership we can see MANY other partners with huge supply chains in place that perhaps could benefit from blockchain tech!
