1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Planet ETN collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and services.

We aim to keep data collection to a minimum. We do not use Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, or third-party marketing trackers.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Web3 Wallet Address (Required for Account Creation)

Creating an account requires connecting a Web3 wallet. We store your public wallet address to identify your account and verify ownership of any Planet NFTs. We never store your private keys, seed phrase, or wallet login details.

2.2 Username & Password (Optional)

After creating an account with a Web3 wallet, you may set a username and password for regular login. This is optional and for convenience.

Passwords are stored securely using industry-standard hashing and are never stored in plain text.

Sensitive actions such as editing a planet profile or publishing posts always require a Web3 signature, regardless of how you logged in.

2.3 Optional Email Address

You may choose to provide an email address for forum notifications or service-related communication. Providing an email is optional.

2.4 User-Submitted Content

If you publish content on your Planet Profile, we store the text, images, and media you upload in order to display them on the platform.

2.5 Server Logs

Our servers may automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and access time. This is used for security, debugging, and preventing abuse.

3. How We Use Your Data

We may use the information we collect to:

• Operate the Planet ETN website, profiles, and forum
• Identify your Web3 wallet to allow access to your planet profile
• Allow optional login using username/password
• Send you notifications or system messages (if you have chosen to receive them)
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug technical issues

We do not use your data for targeted advertising or marketing.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Planet ETN uses minimal functional cookies and local storage to operate the site.

• Maintaining login/session state
• Remembering preferences or interface settings

We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, or external tracking tools.

5. Newsletter & Communication

Newsletter subscriptions require a separate opt-in. You are never auto-subscribed.

You may unsubscribe at any time.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

Our hosting provider or technical service partners may process data solely to operate and secure the platform. They are required to follow applicable privacy laws.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request the deletion of your optional email address or your traditional login credentials (username/password). Your Web3 wallet address cannot be deleted from your account, as it is fundamental to your identity on the platform.

Planet ETN is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under this age.
