My Planet Zephyros Journey

gETN to the best community in crypto! I genuinely mean that.. we have been through many up's and down's (mainly down's, let's be honest). But here we are, with an exciting blockchain with endless possibilities. And this is kind of where my REAL electroneum journey began. Although I first bought ETN in January 2018, i think my first purchase was around 4k coins as I was dipping my toe into an unknown world. I spent approximately $200 on ETN and Litecoin.

Fast forward to May 2024, 6 weeks after Electroneum forked to the EVM smart-chain and I had accumulated around 112k ETN but I just kept thinking, "now what?". I saw many ElectroSwap posts and lots of shilling by Wolf of Electroneum on X and I joined the infamous Electroneum Smart Chain Investors group. I bought a bit of Bolt with my precious ETN.

Then came Pandy and I saw it early, a chance to get into a meme coin and this is when the fun really started.. the hype, the community growth, airdrops, giveaways, competitions.. and my ETN grew as Pandy grew. "Wow, I'm actually making money on Electroneum" were my thoughts!! 

But as things stalled on Electroneum around July 2024, I ventured to another blockchain (BASE - a subsidiary of Coinbase). The chain was buzzing, volume was big enough to pump the smallest of tokens from $4k to $100k in minutes. Some losses but some good wins and I was "making money", not much, but definitely profit! I used these profits to invest more in Electroneum but what I learnt most is that EVM = build. Build anything you want. Build smart contracts, build dapps, build communities, build trust.

Fast forward 12 months and I thought to myself, "I can do this on my own" (to a degree). I can build a contract good enought to deploy, I can supply the liquidity, I can be in control of my own project - something that had tied my hands in the past.

Thinking of ideas for a while but none of them really excited me enough to take the plunge. And then on one sunny afternoon in August 2025, @cnorin launched @ETNPlanet - primarily an Electroneum community website but with a plan to grow into a central universe for all things Electroneum: project pages, charts, forums, posts AND.... PLANET ETN NFT's. And with every planet owner, your own page that you can personalise for your project/social media.

I minted one and randomly was assigned: Zephryos. Zephyros is a dead world, yet it burns with unnatural heat and energy. Its surface is a strange landscape of immense, smooth, green crystal mountains clustered together like frozen waves. Though no life has ever stirred here, the planet pulses faintly, as if the crystals themselves remember something long forgotten.

I just remember thinking, "these are so damn cool.. what if I could bring this planet to life?".. And that when the idea of Planet Zephryos began. But it couldn't be just any meme coin, I needed to create something different, something with panache, with verve.

So, in typical @JAYETN style, I used @Grok and @ChatGPTapp and starting brainstorming ideas. Then it came to me, "what if I could make a highly deflationary token with dynamic taxes that burn tokens with every transaction?"... AI agreed that it would be a great idea as long as the tokenomics were right. AI became my friend and my foe.

Approx 4 weeks it took me to complete the contract for Planet Zephyros $CORE and daaaaamn, it was hard work. Hours and hours of coding, testing, re-coding, re-testing. Then came the moment for listing on ElectroSwap, the anxious wait for sign-off from them. But Vanguard was a great help - that last little bit of guidance and cleaning up of code meant we were all-systems go! Officially listed and trading on @ElectroSwap_Dex!!!

Then what? Well here's a roundup:

1. 98% locked liquidity for 1 year (September 2026).

2. Grown from $4k to $11k market cap despite a declining ETN price.

3. planetzephryos.xyz built and live - I need to update this at some point.

4. Verdant Kin NFT collection - built with an idea of creating a trading card game. Includes a reflection contract that burns $CORE and $CLUB with every mint and secondary sale.

5. Verdant Queen NFT collection - built with an idea of being able to add more collections to a trading card game.

6. Trading Card Game development - honestly, I said there were no promises of a game as I had no idea if I had the ability to do so. But after a few weeks of fairly intense development, I am VERY close to having a functioning test version of this game and can almost confidently say, "there will be a game!"

If the game goes live, I have so many more plans for Planet Zephyros but all of this depends on finishing this game and being able to deploy it.

The thing that I have realised most is, if I can do it, anyone can. AI can help but it is not bulletproof.. especially as ideas become complex like they have in every sense of my development. But my advice, if you have an idea, give it a go - you may just surprise yourself.

Electroneum is great - we will succeed if we stay together and keep the positivity up!
