Electroneum Subnames: Build Your Community Without Charging Users

Electroneum Name Service offers more than simply replacing a long wallet address with a memorable .etn name.

If you own a .etn name, you can also create subnames underneath it using the Electroneum Name Service itself.

For example, if you own:

ninjars.etn

You could create names such as:

jay.ninjars.etn
rock.ninjars.etn
player1.ninjars.etn

And importantly, you do not have to charge your community for them.

Subnames Can Be a Community Tool

Electroneum Name Service is based on ENS technology, which allows the owner of a parent name to create subnames. There is no separate registration fee required for each subname itself, although a small blockchain gas fee may apply when creating or managing them.

This means communities do not necessarily need to turn subnames into another paid product or yearly subscription.

Instead, they can simply give them away.
